Guest appearances & Events

Regular performance evenings, shows and guest performances with young artists and well-known dance companies - Studio Pro Arte offers special evenings that delight audiences from all over the region.

In addition to dance performances, cross-disciplinary events take place in which workshops, music, dance and audience participation make Studio Pro Arte an open and diverse place for artistic encounters.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The Studio Pro Arte is located a few minutes away from Freiburg city center and is easily accessible by tram.

With four studios and a large event hall, Studio Pro Arte offers space for intensive rehearsals and artistic residencies. Fully equipped event technology with professional lighting and music systems is available for residencies and productions.

In addition, Studio Pro Arte offers a co-working space and private rooms for artists.

Ideally suited to a wide range of events including performances, AGMs, meetings, product launches, award ceremonies, corporate hospitality and parties, the Jerwood DanceHouse is an inspiring, adaptable and accessible building.

FAQ for Artists

Memberships are the cheapest way to take part in the courses. We offer different flat rates depending on the length of the courses you choose.

Contract - Membership (duration 6 months)

Participation in additional courses (discount)

When concluding a contract for a 2nd and 3rd course, there is a discount of €6 on the normal monthly fee for further courses
The dance packages are suitable for all dancers who want to dance a lot.

After 6 months, this contract automatically becomes a 1-month flat rate

for the use of all offers at Studio Pro Arte within the regular course schedule

30€ for each additional family member per month to use all offers at Studio Pro Arte.

Price: 150.00 euros per month and participant
The 10-ticket tickets can only be booked for adults. They are suitable if you cannot attend the courses regularly.

Dance ticket €130: Adults only. Valid for courses up to 60 minutes, with course commitment throughout the validity period. Valid for 4 months from purchase. (25 euros registration fee for first-time purchase)

Dance ticket €160: Adults only. Valid for courses of 60/75/90 minutes without course commitment beyond the validity period. Valid for 4 months from purchase. (25 euros registration fee for first-time purchase)

The 10 dance tickets are not transferable.
There is the possibility of attending individual lessons, for example if you are visiting.

Many children, young people and adults attend several courses per week. For this we offer a discount on regular memberships.

When you sign a contract for a 2nd and 3rd course, there is a discount of €6 on the regular monthly fee.

Collaborations

The residency format "Tanz meets special #2" takes place in cooperation with the Tanz Station - Barmer Bahnhof in Wuppertal. Run by Thusnelda Mercy and Pascal Merighi, the Tanz Station - Barmer Bahnhof is a production house and location for artistic residencies.

European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists - EFFEA

In cooperation with the Festival 10 Sentidos in Valencia, Malta Dance Festival and the FREI ART FESTIVAL, Studio Pro Arte is hosting the residency for young artists, which was supported by the European Festival Fund for Emerging Artists. During a residency lasting several weeks, artists develop a new tan piece and present it at the three festivals.
