Scroll for English Das Studio Pro Arte vergibt für den Zeitraum 15. April 2026 bis 31. Januar 2027 zwei einjährige Associated-Artist-Residencies an Einzelkünstler*innen oder Kompanien.
Wir suchen künstlerische Positionen, die ihre Arbeit vertiefen, weiterentwickeln und bewusst in einen Dialog mit Gesellschaft, Stadt und Szene treten möchten.
Was wir bieten
• Kostenfreien Probenraum für Recherche und Entwicklung
• Individuelles künstlerisches und strategisches Coaching
• Einbindung in Festival-, Produktions- und Projektzusammenhänge des Studios
• Zugang zu lokalen und internationalen Netzwerken
• Einen eigenen Präsentationsabend im Studio Pro Arte
• Kontinuierlichen Austausch im Team und mit der Community
Die ausgewählten Artists werden nach Absprache die Residenzzentren festlegen.
Ein Zoom-Treffen mit den Artists findet am 23. oder 24. April statt.
Wir können keine Reisekosten erstatten, keine Produktionskosten übernehmen und keine Unterkunft anbieten.
Give Back:
Im Laufe des Residenzjahres gestalten die Associated Artists drei Momente des Teilens (inklusive der öffentlichen Präsentation).
Diese sollen eine bewusste Auseinandersetzung mit der gesellschaftlichen Dimension der eigenen Arbeit ermöglichen:
• Wie tritt meine künstlerische Praxis in einen ernsthaften Dialog mit der Gesellschaft?
• Wie teile ich Wissen, Recherche oder Fragestellungen mit der Community?
• Wie kann ich die freie Szene der Stadt bereichern?
• Wie reflektiere und überprüfe ich die gesellschaftliche Relevanz meiner Arbeit?
Die Formate können Workshops, Talks, offene Proben, diskursive Formate, Interventionen oder andere geeignete Formen sein.
Bewerbung
Die Bewerbung soll enthalten:
1. Künstlerischer Werdegang (CV / Portfolio)
2. Beschreibung des künstlerischen Vorhabens für das Jahr inkl. idealer Residenzzeiten
3. Skizze des Entwicklungsprozesses
4. Ideenskizze der drei „Momente des Teilens“
(Ansatz, gesellschaftliche Anbindung, mögliche Formate)

Timeline
• Deadline für die Bewerbung: 8. April 2026
• Rückmeldung: bis 15. April 2026 -- Studio Pro Arte is offering two one-year Associated Artist Residencies for individual artists or companies from April 15, 2026, to January 31, 2027.
We are looking for artistic positions that wish to deepen and develop their work while intentionally engaging in dialogue with society, the city, and the local scene.
What We Offer
Free rehearsal space for research and development
Individual artistic and strategic coaching
Integration into the studio’s festival, production, and project activities
Access to local and international networks
A dedicated presentation evening at Studio Pro Arte
Continuous exchange with the team and the community
The selected artists will, in consultation, determine the residency locations.
A Zoom meeting with the artists will take place on April 23 or 24.
Please note: We cannot cover travel costs, production costs, or accommodation.
Give Back
During the residency year, Associated Artists are expected to create three moments of sharing (including the public presentation).
These moments should encourage a conscious engagement with the societal dimension of their work:
How does my artistic practice engage in a meaningful dialogue with society?
How do I share knowledge, research, or questions with the community?
How can I enrich the city’s independent scene?
How do I reflect on and assess the societal relevance of my work?
Formats may include workshops, talks, open rehearsals, discursive formats, interventions, or other suitable forms.
Application
Applications should include:
Artistic CV / Portfolio
Description of the artistic project for the year, including ideal residency periods
Sketch of the development process
Concept outline of the three “moments of sharing” (approach, societal engagement, possible formats)
